    Acting as a finance business partner and driving the enterprise risk management for Maersk Oil, the primarly focus areas are:
    • Overall controlling responsibility for three operating units in Maersk Oil as well as responsibility for monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management
    • Drive the quarterly rolling forecast process for the assigned operating units and review against Investment proposals.
    • Act as subject matter expert in relation to IFRS, reporting requirements and M&A activities.
    • Accountable to drive more value and improvement on management reporting and business reviews to the executive team.
    • Actively manage enterprise risks globally with increased focus on emergent risks and run various risk management workshops.
    • Drive improvements in the reporting process and optimise the reporting cycle SAP - BPC - HFM.
    • Work with the business units to help drive performance and cost transformation initiatives.
    • Deliver oil and gas reserves disclosure requirements according to SEC regulations.
  • APM Terminals - Group Financial Controller

    La Hague 2011 - 2014 APM Terminals is an independent business unit within the Danish A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, The company designs, builds and operates ports and inland services. APM Terminals has 160 port and inland services operations in 58 countries around the globe.

    Financial controlling and consolidation of 200+ globally spread companies reportings including interim and year-end reporting.

    Reporting directly to Director of Reporting and Control, the focus areas are:
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS and integrity of data reported.
    • Prepare acquisition accounting for newly acquired companies including IFRS analysis, purchase price allocation and treatment sign off with external auditors.
    • Assess impact of divestments and portfolio changes on APM Terminals overall performance, enhance forward thinking approach.
    • Successful implementation of "Faster Close" project across APM Terminals business unit.
    • Run IFRS compliance controlling visits and provide suggestions for improving the reporting cycle, quality of data reported and knowledge sharing about best practices.
    • Overall responsibility for the Hyperion financial system and business owner.
    • Develop and maintain training materials and organise training sessions for APMT finance community.
  • APM Terminals - Business Controller, Manager

    La Hague 2008 - 2011 APM Terminals Tangier is a world-class facility within a deep water port handling the largest Container vessels in service, it is owned and operated by APM Terminals in partnership with the Moroccan Akwa Group and was opened in July 2007. Primarily a transshipment hub, APM Terminals Tangier is today the leading container operator in the port of Tanger-Med which is projected to become the largest port in Africa.

    • Accountable for preparing internal and external financial reporting in IFRS and responsible for monitoring variance anlaysis to forecast and targets.
    • Represent Finance in operational projects and business decisions
    • Responsible for preparation, analysis and explanation of the annual target setting process and successful implementation of rolling quarterly forecasts replacing the traditional annual budget cycle, including sensitivity analysis on key financial and operational drivers.
    • collaborate with Europe Region and APMT HQ in respect of finance perspectives, strategic initiatives, CAPEX and business development.
