Villeneuve-d'Ascq2004 - 2005Auchan is the 2nd biggest distribution group in France after Carrefour. I worked in one of Paris Auchan hypermarket, the 9th in the country in terms of sales volume and with more than 800 employee in the store during annual peak period.
I was in the toys department, organizing the Christmas event, I managed a team of 11 persons. With the help of the manager, I was responsible from the choices of the products to their implementation in the store, then during the event, we followed-up the activity and motivated the team until the end. We gained the 8th best turnover in the whole country with an increase of 6% compared to the precedent year.
