  • Allianz - Functional designer & Underwriting Referent

    Puteaux 2015 - maintenant In the Global One program Direction, I joined the Overall Design team of the project ABS as a functional designer with the additional role of Referent in Underwriting and Distribution areas. As a functional designer, my mission is to take part in the overall design of ABS solution for release 6, while as a Referent, which represents 75% of my work, I have to ensure the consistency of my functional scope for each release throughout the Program roadmap. With strong knowledge of the solution designed for Underwriting and Distribution areas, I also represent a key point of contact for questions related to those subjects.

    Main tasks:
    - Collecting and arbitration of business requirements
    - Analysis of existing solution in ABS
    - Design of best fit solution with the respect of delay
    - Ensure consistency of functional scope
    - Analysis of major end-to-end business processes
    - Support the High level solution design
    - Support identification and qualification of the Core enhancements
    - Review and validation of Overall design deliverables from a functional standpoint
    - Support the delivery and testing teams answering their ongoing functional questions
    - Impacts assessment and handling of change requests regarding the solution designed

    Puteaux 2014 - 2015 Allianz Group is an international financial service provider. With a turnover of 110.8 billion euros in 2013 and over 83 million customers in more than 70 countries, Allianz is listed as one of the systemic insurers by the Financial Stability Board, and ranks among the world top three in the sector of insurance. Its activity is mainly divided between insurance for life/health, property/casualty and asset management. In 2011, the group decided to transform its whole information system and launched the project ABS, Allianz Business System, an integrated system for insurance activity specifically designed by and for Allianz group. It is the biggest project ever attempted by the group or any other company in the insurance market. After being first deployed in Austria and Germany, the in-house solution ABS has now started to be deployed in the foreign subsidiaries of the group, including Allianz France.

    Attached to the Global One program Direction of Allianz France, and sent in mission in the Direction of Change, my role is to support the business through this historic change of the group information system. Thus, I take part in the initialization and the delivery of a documentation that provides a comprehensive modelling of end-to-end ABS functioning, including its interactions with other legacy systems, for Underwriting, Policy administration and Claims handling activities. In this huge worksite, this mission then allows me to have a global and anticipated understanding of Allianz future information system.

    Main tasks:
    - Collecting information from Architecture, Design and Legacy systems teams
    - Analysis of flows, kinematics and GUIs design
    - Modelling of ABS functioning in ARIS software
    - Ensure consistency among the various functionalities designed
    - Support business, design, test and training teams by responding to their questions

    Paris 2013 - 2014 Louis Vuitton Services Europe is a subsidiary of the group Louis Vuitton in charge of the Customer Service in Europe. Open in September 2010 in Brussels, the company now employs about 70 multilingual advisors to serve the customers of 18 countries: Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine and Benelux Nordics countries. LVSE’s mission is to ensure a high quality service to Louis Vuitton customers, and its activity is divided between calls, emails and chats, but it also delivers services for online, phone and email order transactions. The company’s place in the group becomes even more important as the Digital progresses in the luxury world.

    As part of the International Volunteers in Business program, I carry out two missions within Louis Vuitton Services Europe. My first mission is to analyze the customer service activity performance and to create reports and dashboards to help the operational managers in their decision making. This function allows me to have close contacts with the operational staff and to work with a variety of reporting tools. My second mission is to manage various IT projects in the deployment phase on a Benelux Nordics-wide scale. This implies to manage people and to work with different stakeholders such as IT local team, IT Department, international providers, users etc.

    Main tasks:
    - Participation in the daily, weekly and monthly performance reports to Corporate
    - Development of decision-making tools for managers (creation of dashboards, calculation of KPIs…)
    - Data crunching (activity analysis, statistical studies for operational needs…)

    - Ensure coordination between local technical support team and IT Department
    - Planning and communication on the projects to worldwide users

    Paris 2012 - 2013 Louis Vuitton is the most valuable brand of the group LVMH, leader in the luxury world. Created in 1854, the group Louis Vuitton has been growing for more than a century, manufacturing and selling products such as leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, watches and jewelry, accessories and books. The group employs more than 19 thousand people around the world and has 465 stores across 65 countries. Its head office is located in Paris.

    I carry out my apprenticeship at the head office of the group Louis Vuitton in the Finance department where I work as a functional administrator. My role is mainly to maintain the parameters of various applications and ERPs. This position allows me to have a general view of the information system management on a decision-making level, to gain a general knowledge of software/ERPs operations and to discover their use in different financial services. As a primary contact between end-users of various positions and departments and the IT department, I also take part in several IT projects management, ranging from drafting specifications to user training.
