Professor Charles Santoni is graduated from the University of Paris XII and from the University Paul Cézanne of Marseilles where he got his PhD in computer science in 1987 and his Accreditation to Supervise Research (the highest academic qualification) in 2008.
His research activities concern the field of the Human-Computer Interactions and focus on interaction engineering (ergonomic design and software design). Their field of application concerns the industrial supervision systems.
He is the former deputy Director of Polytech’Marseille in charge of training. He has been the Director of the Industrial Engineering and IT Department of this graduated school of engineering during 10 years.
Professor Charles Santoni has participated et participates in numerous working groups and in numerous international and national learned societies (IEEE, ACM, EEA Club, AFCET, AFHIM, Mc Leod Institut of Simulation Sciences, Society for Modeling and Simulation International...) and belongs to the board of some of them.
