After 10 years of international consulting experience on a broad variety of topics (in France, Mexico, Afghanistan and Belgium), I now take on within Quintessence Consulting a diversified role as a senior consultant, trainer, certified coach, and assessor in French and in English, based in Brussels. I support and advise directors, HR experts and staff in allowing competency and talent management to thrive within their organisation.

    2012 - 2015 Project Manager of the BICK Consortium (> 3 m€ / year) - Leadership Development Framework Contract of the European Commission
    Identified the Leadership Development needs of the main European institutions and agencies, in coordination with the HR units. Offered & coordinated relevant solutions
    o Developed managerial competency frameworks for several European institutions & agencies.
    o Designed large long-term blended learning leadership development programs for all the managers of several European institutions and agencies
    o Coaching: designed and coordinated individual, team and group coaching set-ups.

    Assignments included:
    > A large-scale evaluation of the perception by local beneficiaries of an international NGO’s community-based model of development,
    > A study of the coping strategies of returned refugees in urban settings,
    > An assessment of the Afghan livestock market,
    > A market study on the Uzbek cotton market

    - Interviewed key informants, drafted reports and presented them to the clients.
    - Managed several Afghan consultants (1 to 7 / project) and interviewers (10 to 40 / project).
  • L.E.K. Consulting (Paris, France) - Strategy Consultant

    2007 - 2009 Conducted strategy consulting missions in various sectors (power plant OEMs, rolling stock, construction, airport services…). Interviewed key informants and drafted reports.

    Assignments included:
    - An in-depth review of the performance and organisation of a key rolling stock manufacturer
    - An assessment for a power plant equipment manufacturer of its client portfolio of major electricity producers worldwide (steam, gas and hydro) and of its competitors
    - Several strategic due diligence analyses for private equity funds in the construction cranes, stone, building materials) and airport services sectors: analysis of target companies’ markets (size, segmentation, evolution), customers, competitive positioning and growth opportunities
  • Altai Consulting (Kaboul, Afghanistan) - Social Research Consultant

    2006 - 2007 - Conducted social research consulting missions throughout Afghanistan for international organizations and NGOs:
    > Assignments included a study on tax and regulatory barriers for Afghan entrepreneurs, a key background paper for an international conference organized by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in November 2006
    > Interviewed key informants, drafted reports and presented them to the clients.

    - Conducted large-scale market research assignments throughout Afghanistan for the country’s main mobile phone operator, focusing on its customers: socio-demographic profile, satisfaction, perception of the brand, use of media, etc.
