    · Led restructuring for the Combined Cycle Engineering Function in Switzerland
    · Reporting to the Segment HR Director, introduced the Mercer IPE Position Evaluation system for the 3 top management levels of the Gas Segment worldwide
  • ALSTOM India - HR Project Manager

    maintenant Reporting to the CEO, managed a comprehensive HR project aimed at developing new grades and related compensation, performance management and development systems for 250 Executives over 2 sites. Strategic project led in coordination with the Unit Management team in order to ensure a better alignment of HR processes and tools to the business objectives. Included coaching, guidance and supervision of a team of 10 employee representatives and 3 HR professionals.

    Key Achievements
    · Devised and led all actions of communication (individual and collective) in order to ease the transition from a cast-driven to a job grade-driven structure
    · Mapped the cascading of responsibilities in line with the unit core processes, managed the drafting and validation of 150 job descriptions, carried out position grading using the Mercer IPE methodology and implemented the new salary structure deriving from the new grades
    · Developed a competency dictionary in line with the business needs, mapped the competencies for all 150 positions
    · Developed and introduced performance appraisal and development reviews
  • ALSTOM UK - HR Officer

    maintenant Management of the business worldwide expatriate population in line with the business strategy and the corporate guidelines.
    Responsible for generalist Human Resources service for the Commercial, Customer Support and Facilities functions (included recruitment and selection, contractual issues, terminations, performance management, employee relations, training and development, salary reviews).

    · Managed all the expatriate population (Europe, Asia, USA, Australia) in terms of negotiation of remuneration package, tax issues, health cover, old age pensions and family support.
    · Set up new graduate training programme in line with IMechE/IEE requirements
    · Organised and managed outplacement services during a redundancy exercise (including budgetary responsibility) – achieved 97% success within 6 months after notification of redundancy.
  • ALSTOM - Global Human Resources Manager

    Saint Ouen maintenant Responsible for leading all human resources operations in 3 units, in line with the Business strategy and sector HR guidelines. Complex environment with a population covering several different EPC functions and businesses and reporting to different Heads in a matrix organisation. Lead a team of 3 HR professionals. In charge of recruitment and talent management and development for all Plant Engineering experts worldwide.

    Key Achievements
    · Negotiated and implemented transfer of the Turbomachines Unit from Velizy to Levallois and the Controls Activity from Levallois to Massy (120 people in total)
    · Led restructuring in Levallois and Saint Priest, leading to the closure of the Saint-Priest branch (120 people in total)
  • ALSTOM THERMAL POWER - Nuclear - HR Director

    2011 - maintenant Reporting to the Business SVP and Sector HR SVP, responsible for all HR Operations in the business different locations (France, China, India, Russia, US) – Business Turnover : 500 M€ - 800 employees worldwide

    Key achievements
    • Footprint adaptation and development : development support for JV with Rosatom in Russia (staffing of key positions), set up of Indian organisation, transfer and integration of EPC integration capability from another organisation in France, knowledge transfers to China (4 products over 24 months) ; closure of US Operations.
    • Talent pipeline developed in all key Countries: France, China, India, Russia
    • Succession plans in place for Nuclear Senior Management Roles and local successors in place in China
  • ALSTOM - VP HR Finance and IS Communities

    Saint Ouen 2006 - 2011 Responsible for the Senior Executive recruitment, development and succession planning, for global collective development programmes and for global competencies and career mapping tools for the finance and IS communities worldwide (circa 2800 People) in support of the sector strategy. Coach to the members of the Sector Finance and IS central teams. Reporting to the SVP Finance of the Power Sector.
