Cynthia Pierre has more than 4 years experience gained from various finance and administration positions. She has worked for companies with different organisational cultures in France and in the UK. But mainly during her last position as the head of account payable in the UK National Health Service, she took part of projects focusing on process improvement and implementing a contemporary invoice processing system. She is looking to take her career into the next level in financial services and/or consulting path and keen to extend and develop her skills in a forward-looking organisation. She has started a joint MBA program at the University of Birmingham (UK) and ESC Montpellier (France) and will graduate in December 2010.

    2007 - maintenant Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices for payment and ensuring that the correct financial codes are applied and signed by authorised signatories.
    Problem solving including dealing with supplier complaints in writing and over the telephone.
    Using trust electronic systems such as Cedar, Oracle and Meditech.
    Other ad hoc duties including assisting with charitable funds accounts, variance analysis, asset register, Budget report.

    I have sped up invoices authorisation process by creating a “one stop-shop” database of information needed to process invoices. I have been able to resolve high volumes of outstanding queries dated back to 2002
