I'm a Senior Mechanical Engineer (12-year experience) specialised in automotive seating. After 12 years in the automotive industry, subject to very short deadlines and high costs, my focus is on efficiency and customer satisfaction through improved teamwork and organisation. I can take advantage of my experience and my personality as I am open-minded, hard-working and flexible. I'm responsible for the complete trim seat project in terms of design, developpement, validation, planning, completion and communication for all phases and for many customers (TOYOTA, PSA, RSA, SAAB...).

    Responsible for the complete trim seat project in terms of design, developpement, validation, planning, completion and communication for all phases on the PSA D25 (specific power frame with EZE entry function able to achieve EuroNcap crash criteria and all ECE asks) and Renault W61 (development of flat floor seat function with specific kinematics for seat with same specification for all seat diversity and able to achieve EuroNcap crash criteria and all ECE asks).
    Advance Engineering: Product Design, development (BOM, Drawing, CAD data...) and industrialisation in accordance with the Customer Requirements Chart; Management of CAD-drafter team; Management of international full service supplier (OIL follow-up, CAD release...); Participation to international engineering meetings with local suppliers, collaborators and customers; Planning and product definition from prototype to serial production; Creation of Project Validation Plan; Technical support for Customer Engineering Teams,
    Prototype and Serial Phases: Definition of mass production plan with dedicated plant process engineers (Design review; Engineering & Design release..); Technical relationship with Plant engineering team for development issues (trimming quality, functional items...); Writing and transmission of all Product Design reports to Suppliers and Customer Engineering Teams; Results analysis and creation of Product Incident Reports initialising 8D procedures; Centralisation of information coming from Lear test facilities, Suppliers engineering centres and Plant remarks; Reporting to customer and to Program Management about product developpement; Participation to the DFMEA and Design Reviews.

    ORVAULT 2003 - 2003 PROJECT ENGINEER (subcontractor)/ Seat System Division – LEAR AUTOMOTIVE FRANCE

    Responsible for the Front seat cad design team. Design and develop a complete powered seat in accordance with European norm and EuroNcap criteria, weight objective with integration of standard component for reduction of cost.
    Engineering: Front powered Frame design with EuroNcap specification, Supervision and verification of all definition (CAD & drawing); Redaction of weekly CAD team activity; Interaction with both product engineer (front seat & rear seat) and CAD team; Control of the suppliers’ CAD deliveries in terms of definition and quality; built of stack up study for complete seat (frame, plastics and trim)
    Prototype and Serial Phases: Definition of mass production plan with dedicated plant process engineers (Design review; Engineering & Design release..); Technical relationship with Plant engineering team for development issues (trimming quality, functional items...); Writing and transmission of all Product Design reports to Suppliers and Customer Engineering Teams; Centralisation of information coming from Lear test facilities, Suppliers engineering centres and Plant remarks; Reporting to customer and to Product engineer about product development; Participation to the DFMEA and Design Reviews.

    2000 - 2003 CAD ENGINEER / Seating Division - FRANCE

    Responsible for CAD Design and conception for the TOYOTA YARIS Rear seat (built drawing, stack up study) with an integration of a third anchorage point and new rear seat kinematics for volume modulation and able to achieve EuroNcap crash criteria and all ECE asks.
    Engineering: Update and adapt frame component after FEA analysis to reach Customer specification for complete seat; Integration of a third seat belt anchorage on rear seat; integration of specific kinematics for the rear seat to have sliding movement and jack knife position; Foam development with glue trim cover; Built stack up study analysis for validate the design and guarantee the developpment; Transmission of all drawing to the plants; Checking within the production sites that all changes are feasable in terms of process, quality and price; Reporting to the Project engineer and R&D staff of all problems and action plan; Creation of Project Validation Plan
