Emmanuel has over 15 years' of professional experience, in a wide range of international projects in Africa, Asia, Europe and Middle East, both in enterprises and law firms in the Republic of Congo and abroad, in advising domestic and multinational companies in national and international tax and legal. Privileged contact for several locally based multinational clients due to his comprehensive knowledge of African countries.
More than 15 years of experience negotiating and advising companies on upstream and midstream oil and gas acquisitions, operations and related activities. His clients are primarily oil and gas companies ranging from independents desiring to enter into the international area to integrated majors.
With a concentration on oil and gas investment projects and cross-border transactions, his practice focuses on acquisitions, divestments, trades, and mergers ; strategic commercial and business advice; large infrastructures projects; unitization, exploration, development and production operations; negotiations.
Experience in this field has been varied, ranging from drafting and negotiating international project agreements (PSCs, JOAs, concessions, BOTs, JVs, farm-ins/outs, securities/guarantees, loans etc) to advising on pre-contentious matters.
