Mission: Management of all aspects linked to installation of equipments on the FPSO package of the GirRI project (Brownfield), including engineering, offshore operations, and in particular, management of the installation contractor (Saipem).
FPSO package - Installation contractor: Saipem (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines)
Subsea: Installation of 2 MPP stations (300Tons each)
Topside: Installation of the MPP Topsides Module (850Tons) and a Transformer Skid Unit (150Tons) on Girassol FPSO; installation of a Transformer Skid Unit (150Tons) on Dalia FPSO
Main activities as installation engineer:
- Responsible for the supervision of installation activities ensuring that they are carried out in a good workmanship in accordance with project requirements, Company procedures, strict compliance to HSE regulations and QA/QC policy within the agreed schedule
- Review Contractor’s engineering document including pre commissioning and installation planning and issue relevant ones to Company corporate specialists and MWS for their review.
- Participate in Risk Assessments / Hazids
- Prepare offshore marine operations, associated logistic, SIMOPS dossiers
- Coordinate the attendance of MWS during all required installation phases as well as vendor’s assistance from other packages
- Optimize planning coordination between the vessels in order to prevent or minimize stand by time and/or production shut down

- In charge with the contract engineer of the building, negotiations/ clarifications and recommendations of the following call for tenders: diving frame contract and replacement of Total E&P Angola MSV “Bourbon Helene”
- Manage the development and performance of several subsea projects, in particular fabrication and installation of an Umbilical Distribution Box on Girassol Field, B17
- Manage and coordinate IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) diving campaigns on Girassol and Dalia assets, B17
- In charge of the organization of ROV pipeline inspection campaigns on B3 and B17
- Amongst these projects, field of intervention/responsibilities are the following:
* Coordinate the development of engineering studies and installation procedures. Technical review & validation of Contractor’s studies and procedures.
* Supervise contractor activities: diving contractor; fabrication and construction contractors
* Organize, coordinate and optimize offshore operations (SIMOPS, scheduling, costs impacts)
* Liaise with other subsea specialists (FSV superintendent, ROV superintendent and survey specialists)
* Build up planning, review project budgets and costs follow up
* Monitor HSE and safety engineering (Risks Assessments)
* Coordination with contract engineer of all life projects issues / claim solving
