  • Timken China / FirstBrigde - Supply Chain Manager

    2009 - 2011 Distribution company, subsidiary of The Timken Company (world #4 bearing maker) with target to become China’s leading industrial distributory. Running manufacturer (supplier) recruitment, development as well as all supply chain activities.
    o Supplier recruitment: Initial contacts to potential new suppliers’ key executives to jointly determine opportunity to work together.
    o Supplier development / sourcing: Negotiation of China representation, long-term agreement, purchasing cost as well as support to First Bridge business growth.
    o Logistics: Worldwide transportation and management of cost/efficiency of third party through growth of warehousing operations: 1,200 sqm warehouse operations, shipping monthly 75,000 items to Chinese customer.
    o Planning: Using ABC ranking method to analyse record and plan inventory with objective to increase service level while decreasing overall value.
    o Replenishment-Purchasing: Leads team through day-to-day transactions and monitoring of suppliers performance (delivery, support, operational mistakes…) based on replenishment guidelines and processes created.
    o Overall, managing team and activities using clearly defined objectives for all functions so all aspects of the company supply chain performance are constantly measured.
    o Key member of the company leadership team.
  • Timken China - Product Management / Marketing

    2007 - 2008 In charge of Product Management and Marketing for an industrial distribution project.

    Main responsabilities: find and launch new product lines, drive analysis of new markets, investigate new sales models.

    Launched successfully 10 product lines, from concept to revenue.
  • Timken Europe puis Timken China - Analyste Marketing

    2006 - 2007 First experience in marketing for 18 month (internship and part time job while studying).

    Responsible of the marketing for the development of a heavy industrial market sub-segment.
    Realized marketing studies prior to heavy investments projects.
