• Develop and implement multi-year category strategy for Utilities (300 M€ Annual Spend)
• Prepare, negotiate and implement global and regional contracts with key suppliers, jointly with regional resources and legal department in line with defined Global Category Strategy
• Support the achievement of Sourcing targets for the category as defined in the respective annual plan (cost reductions, working capital improvements, supplier reduction, risk mitigation, etc.)
• Manage and coordinate the development of new cost reduction projects through brainstorming sessions, spend analysis, benchmarking and other sourcing tools
• Provide monthly consistent information to Business Areas and Plants about market and supply trend within Business Plan
• Support and coordinate the monthly reporting information on sourcing projects within defined reporting deadlines
• Ensure implementation of global / regional price contracts and agreements in the respective business systems (contract compliance) in the scope of responsibility
• Provide monthly update on inflation / deflation by sub-category and plant
• Ensure implementation of rebate agreements with suppliers and track together with Controlling timely payment of agreed rebates by suppliers
• Support Sales needs, through collaboration with Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Plant Sourcing Managers and Category Managers
