Stan Gazdik - Founder & President International Association Operational Defence Group (IAODG). Military duty came in 1989 when he served as a soldier for the Czech Military Service till 1991. That first taste of military life would lead to a sustained military career as returning to a civilian world quickly lost all appeal. Stan was soon amongst the rank and file of the French Foreign Legion with whom he enrolled during spring, 1991 in Strasbourg. As a sniper with the the French Foreign Legion his work was recognized by GCP (Commandos Parachutists) who inducted him making Stan the first Eastern European to be have been made part of their team. His work ethic lead to roles of responsibilty which recognized both his discipline and dedication. For 12 years he was charged leading the combat and technical training with this unit. For a unit that has only 25 soldiers from 7,200 potential applicants it is testimony not only to the prestige of this unit but also to Stan’s credentials as a person who has legitimate claims in this specialized line of business. Stan has seen active service in various theaters of conflict having worked missions in places such as Sarajevo, Mostar, Macedonia, Central Africa – Djibouti, Congo, Tchad, Brazaville and Gabon. In 2006, he left military service and is now providing groups and individuals the opportunity to benefit from those experiences and skills garnered from some of most dangerous places in the world. IAODG is the result of Stan’s formulating systems that can be utilized by groups or individuals.
