  • Galderma, a Nestlé Skin Health Company - Director Alliance Management & Strategic Projects

    Courbevoie 2015 - maintenant Currently Alliance Director for the Self-Medication Business Unit at Galderma, a Nestlé Skin Health Company. I am accountable for successful operational execution of commercial partnerships. My role is to lead our strategic collaborations to maximize the value of partnered assets. My key priorities and responsibilities are to ensure internal operational effectiveness and excellence in execution of our commercial strategies. This comes by driving strategic, operational and cultural alignment to meet co-determined objectives. In this position, it is also essential to manage expectations internally and with the partners by building trust, credibility and accountability among teams. My previous financial and commercial experience in various countries is also making me focus on the improvement of internal critical business processes; the end goal is to value the collaborative assets as much as internally developed products and technologies.
  • Galderma - Regional Director, Latin America Spanish

    Courbevoie 2011 - 2015 Regional Director, responsible for the five Spanish speaking subsidiaries & all Distributors in Latin America, I was leading a team of five countries’ General Managers and a region of 250 people. I was responsible for the Area P&L, Budget, Trends and long term Strategic planning. In this position, I have also ensured the operational integration of two new companies and portfolio into our operations. Some of the challenges in the position included the management of some countries with a high level of financial and institutional complexities, needing a strong focus on resource allocation and people motivation. Finally, I was putting a special focus with my team on Budget construction, three year Strategic planning, compensation plans for commercial teams and product launch velocity.
    - From 55M€ in 2011 to 125M€ in 2015 with all three Business Units growing between +20% and +50%
    - Ten key positions hired in the last two years: General Managers, Regulatory Affairs, Business Units Heads, Finance, etc…
    - Negotiation and implementation of a promotional agreement with a Partner in Mexico in February 2014
    - Self-Medication sales multiplied by four in Venezuela between 2011 and 2014

    Courbevoie 2010 - 2011 Operational implementation of Global Marketing strategies in Latin America markets in all three Business Units; I then played a key role in the integration of a new company with a new business model, new products and new people (Aesthetic & Corrective business unit).
    - Leadership in getting new products approved and launched in Latin America through continued work with Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing and Global Marketing to ensure speed to market

    Courbevoie 2006 - 2010 Product Manager for a 30M USD topical product. I was in charge of the definition and implementation of the Strategies and tactics for the brand.
    - The brand captured 5% points market share between January and October 2009 in a declining market
    - Successful Regulatory crisis management having led to a change in marketing strategy and sales tactics
    - New Key Opinion Leaders development (high prescribers)
    - Implementation of a new consumer website and a new patients’ rebate program

    Market Research Manager in charge of all Primary Market Research projects implementation across all brands in the USA, translating marketing and business issues into a research program.
    - Implementation of a comprehensive market research plan (positioning, messaging, concept and sales aid testing) in anticipation of the launch of a new topical prescription drug for the treatment of Acne.
    - Leadership in an innovative project consisting in optimizing the Advertising & Promotion budget 2009 for our Acne franchise and modelling the expected uptake of a new topical prescription drug for Acne

    Manager, Business Development, responsible for the evaluation of all external opportunities. I evaluated numerous licensing opportunities in various therapeutic areas and performed the full evaluation of two US dermatology companies.
    - Signing of a licensing deal to promote an Aesthetic product to US Dermatologists and Plastics surgeons
    - Signing of a co-promotion agreement with a US Dermatology company for the promotion of an Atopic Dermatitis product to Pediatricians
  • Galderma - Economics Manager, Corporate Services, Paris

    Courbevoie 2001 - 2006 In this position reporting to Finance VP and later to Marketing VP, I was fully responsible for delivering the financial evaluation of all in-licensed products and compounds, from target evaluation to deal structure proposals (M&A). This position also covered a long term Strategic analysis (10 years) with Sales and Business prospective as well as R&D resources needed to achieve goals. Finally, my role was to perform the financial evaluation of internal R&D Projects and support operational teams in Portfolio Management and resource allocation.
    - Signing of a co-promotion agreement with a pharmaceutical company in Japan (one year project)
    - Re-negotiation of a deal with $15 million NPV improvement for Galderma
    - Marketing Mix optimization: leader of a project for the USA and France (January 2003-December 2004) with preparation of the marketing plan for the launch of an acne product in the USA
