Reporting directly to the CIO, my current role consists of leading the development of an enterprise architecture for all IT solutions and services which are fit for purpose today and accommodates for future growth. My responsibilities also include the delivery of services to keep all business applications running to meet business expectations in a stable environment.
• Strategy for Application, Integration processes, Data and Infrastructure, within defined Enterprise IT architecture.
• Optimization of IT through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities, with the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking).
• Collaboration with other IT and Business departments to develop business cases in support of roadmap projects.
• Architect and deliver EOA integration environment across all lines of business, partners, backend applications.
• Application quality assurance through testing center of excellence.
• End-to-end support for all business critical applications and integrated processes, assist in optimizing the value of the current portfolio of systems and services delivered by IT.
• Management of the relationship with IT vendors through product research, selection and contract negotiation process.

Reporting to the CIO, my responsibilities covered all applications (ERP, WMS, Customer Referential, Data Warehouse, .Net and Web solutions, legacy applications) and included:
• Application support and maintenance services.
• Integration and testing center including non-regression testing and benchmarking.
• Projects for improvement and enhancement services.
• Management of the Oracle portfolio at Essilor of America.

Working directly with the CIO, my responsibilities included enterprise-level transactional solutions, essentially Oracle ERP, as well as Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Application development with functional and technical resources (both domestic and off-shore).
• Project management and application support for all solutions delivered by the department.
• IT quality assurance.
• Account management for better integration and management of business priorities.
• Led the market research, partner selection, contract and SLA establishment for the outsourcing of the operational management of the ERP solution (5 yrs+ contract with Oracle On Demand).

Reporting to the US CIO, my responsibilities included application solutions delivery for Oracle ERP, running on a single instance, along with other in-house transactional applications. Managed the relocation of the IT Applications organization from Florida to Dallas, TX. Introduced Off-Shoring solutions for software development.

Reporting to the US CIO, my responsibilities covered technical architecture, software architecture, production integration, as well as project methodology and governance.
• Supervised the complete re-design of our domestic data network.
• Facilitated the implementation of Active Directory in an Essilor worldwide effort.
• Initially retaining my operational responsibilities, I transferred PC Support, Operations, Pre-Production and Technical Architecture organization, resources and activities from Tampa Bay, Florida to Dallas, Texas.

Reporting directly to the US CIO, my mission was to define, create and lead an IT production department encompassing Help Desk platform, Operations group, PC service desk, Pre-Production (or production integration), with a service delivery approach and mind set for the Essilor of America Business Units.
• Designed, defined and implemented an IT charge back process (Activity Base Costing).
• Led the development of IT Service Level Agreements.
• Supervised the operational implementation of the single instance ERP (Oracle Applications) solution centralizing key business function ; implementation of operations processes (from production integration governance and techniques, to change and incident management).
• Led with my counterpart in France the outsourcing of the Corporate Help Desk.
• Held a leadership role in the outsourcing of the PC platform (leasing, cloning, deployment, desk support).

Reporting directly to the Corporate CIO, I was in charge of four different teams:
• Operations (Help Desk and day to day Operations).
• Integration (operational organization, integration of the new data processing solutions, definition of Service Level Agreements).
• Industrialization (technical integration of new applications, systems standardization, operations norms, tools and standards).
• Quality & Costs (charge back, service quality monitoring, budget processing).

Reported to the IT Technical Director. Working on HP-UX systems, my role was to define the architecture for Unix systems in production. I led the qualification, normalization and implementation of an operational administration solution (CA-Unicenter) for distributed systems, as well as the design and enforcement of Unix HP-UX systems security.
