    2017 - maintenant As a Systems/Sales Engineer, my main role is to help ensure the adequacy between customer's needs and Spirent's testing solutions portfolio.
    Those testing solutions are related to multiple domains:
    • OSI stack layers, Routing/Switching, Applications testing, Cybersecurity, Access/Transport/Core of Fixed networks, Mobile networks (4G, NSA/SA 5G), WLAN, Lab Automation, Positioning Satellites (GNSS), Cloud/Virtualization, etc...
    • and aimed at testing in Lab/Pre-production or Production environments.
    Requirements discovery, technical specifications/standards analysis, customer presentation, demo/PoC, debugging, scripting, technical solution configuration (BOM) and optimization, RFI, RFP, RFQ etc.
    Main technical point of contact to Customers. Some projects require involvement in training and post-sales activities.
    Liaise with Business Development, Product Management, Support teams and 3rd party vendors as required.
    Geographical coverage is EMEA South mostly through local partners. Up to 20% travel rate.
    Example of achievements: 5G core testing project (Products and Services) at NEMs and CSP, GNSS (incl. CRPA) testing project at Defense Systems Integrator and NEMs, Lab automation project at worldwide Security Solution provider.

  • Ercom (Nokia Oulu) - Pre-sales Engineer (Contractor)

    Oulu 2016 - 2016 Main goals of my contract were: providing support to customer, getting them to see how Mobipass can fit their needs, demos, training, and training of my local sales/pre-sales colleagues. I was the 2nd employee.

  • Nvidia - Senior NV-IOT Engineer

    Courbevoie 2013 - 2015 IO(D)T: Inter-Operability (Development) Testing

    Main tasks:
    • Worldwide IOT/IODT session execution/support GSM/WCDMA/LTE(FDD and TDD), (require 3GPP technical specifications understanding and interpersonal/communication skills to work in multi-cultural environment.).
    • Network vendors account management for Huawei/ZTE/Samsung (temporary).
    • IODT activity lead. Identifying IODT opportunities in coordination with Network vendors PoC and relevant Development/Management teams.
    • Nvidia UE and Network vendors features/roadmap tracking, technology watch.
    • Feature lead within IOT team for eMBMS, DTM

  • ERCOM - LTE Technical Support Engineer

    Paris 2010 - 2013 LTE Technical Support Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent
    • Providing mainly on-site support to Alcatel-Lucent pre-integration/integration teams on Mobipass testing tool for LTE eNodeB performance evaluation (air interface and core network).
    • Product setup/intallation/configuration, analysing, troubleshooting, testing, system enhancement/tuning, on site training, documenting the defect, customer requirements and communicating the problem priority to the necessary levels of management/technical expertise.

  • Orange Labs - France Telecom R&D (Consultant) - LTE R&D Engineer

    2008 - 2010 LTE R&D Telecom Engineer (Altran TEM)
    I mainly worked on real-time and best-effort services performance evaluation for 3GLTE (UL/DL) based on a system level simulation approach
    • I studied 3GPP Contributions and Technical Specifications on 3GLTE
    • I participated to the design of the modules (defining the architecture) to be implemented
    • I implemented 3GLTE standard’s main features for VoIP and best effort services, generic approach (not manufacturer implementation specific)
    • The implementation (L1/L2 layers: TS 36.xxx) was done on a C++ based system level simulator for both UL/DL in FDD/TDD mode
    • Facing manufacturer (mainly Alcatel-Lucent) on some specific features
    • I contributed to technical deliverables, ensured technical support on 3GLTE (UL/DL) and VoIP, contributed to a patent submission (rejected)
    • I contributed two times to B3G Orange Labs seminar
