  • R&D Mitsubishi Mobile Communications - GSM/UMTS SW manager

    2001 - 2004 This department was in charge of the design and development of the 3GPP GSM/UMTS protocol stack (layers 2 and 3), for a Dual Mode Modem. This protocol stack has been used in several commercial mobile handsets, under the brands Mitsubishi and Motorola.

    The following protocols have been implemented :
    * Radio Resources (RR, RLC, RRC, MAC, URLC)
    * Mobility (MM, PMM)
    * L2 Link (DL, LLC)
    * Connection management (CC, SM, SMS, SS)
    * CS and Pkt Data Protocols. ;
