  1998 - 2019 Jean-Luc Soret (born in 1968) is an independant curator and event organiser in the field of photography and new media art. He was curator at MEP/Maison Européenne de la Photographie (www.mep-fr.org) in Paris from 1999 to 2019, and artistic director of the @rt Outsiders Festival (www.art-outsiders.net) at MEP from 2000 to 2011 .
  
  He has co-curated Hors Pistes Festival dedicated to the Moon at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in January 2019 in the context of the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing. In 2015, he has curated the Campus Exhibition as part of the international Ars Electronica festival in Linz, Austria; retrospective exhibition dedicated to thirty years of artistic creation from different departments of the University of Paris VIII, pioneers in the field of digital arts.
  He is also a member of the Advisory Commitee of Leonardo/Olats (Fr), of the Leonardo Space Art Working Group (Usa) and has taught at Paris the University of Panthéon/Sorbonne and at the University of Versailles, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
