    Performing F&DT analyses on the A350-900 Nose Landing Gear Bay (NLGB) in interface with KAI/Clairis Technology and Aerolia. Sizing of the NLGB Structures: Frame Horns, Lower Angle Up lock Fitting for Maturity B. The analyses were performed by hand calculations and with Airbus fatigue software (SAFE and ISAMI Tools).

  • GKN - FDT stress engineer

    Arnage 2006 - 2008 (18 months)
    * Aileron & Spoiler panels.
    In charge of F&DT analyses of the composite panels and developed several tools (Visual basic macros) to automate some repetitive tasks met in fatigue team (generation of the input files for AUK fatigue software DAMTOL).

    * Flap track beam attachments (6 months)
    Performing the F&DT analyses of the flap beam attachment. Fatigue survey was made from post processing FE results (with Patran). Analyses were performed by hand calculations and computer methods (DAMTOL package: SPECDAM, SEQDAM & SPECCRK sections).

    * System brackets (6 months).
    In charge of the fatigue analyses of A400M Trailing Edge electrical and hydraulic system brackets. Fatigue analysis was performed taking into account vibration high cycle fatigue loads in addition to the normal low fatigue loads. Analyses were executed by hand calculation and computer methods (DAMTOL package :SECDAM & SPECDAM sections)

    In charge of the F&DT analyses on A300/A310 Pylon for Serial Repair Manual activities in the frame of A300/A310 Extended Service Goal.
    Allowable damages, calculations of Repair Approval Sheets (RAS) were performed by hand and computer methods (AiF fatigue software SAFE).

    In charge of the F&DT parametric study of engines mounts for different power plants (Pratt and Whitney / General Electric). The objective was to quantify the impact of several parameters, which were not taken into account in the previous certification (range, fuel at landing, lift off phase and lateral gusts). I developed and used a Visual Basic macro to compute the generation of input files for fatigue software SAFE.

    In charge of justifications of floor modifications due to different layouts. Performing static analyses of longitudinal and transverse rails, seat rails and furniture fittings. Analyses were mainly based on hand calculations and computer methods (ASSIST, CADLINK). I wrote stress reports and official Modification Sheet Justifications (MSJ) for external customers.

    * A300-600ST N°5 landing gears static certification.
    I performed static calculations for the nose and main landing gears and wrote certification reports for the substantiation of the weight increase of this aircraft.

    I performed static calculations of the central landing gear with a new loads loop.

    * Static and fatigue certification.
    A340-500/600 landing gear bay fatigue certification. I performed the calculation with a new loads loop and updated the certification reports.
    DO 328 static and fatigue certification. Recalculation with a new loads loop.
