I supervise a team of five junior Project Managers and one Cost Controller, and manage a typical portfolio of four 20 million US dollar projects and ten tenders for our different regions around the world (mainly Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, North Sea and South East Asia).

    SURESNES 2003 - 2006 As Field Engineer, I was attached to a dedicated vessel:
    - From January 2003 to January 2004: Orion. She is a construction vessel designed for conventional operations in shallow water: anchored, mainly fitted with a main crane, a S-lay rigid pipe production line and a diving spread. During my assignment, she underwent a number of projects in West Africa including rigid pipelaying in S mode, shore approaches, above water tie-ins, installation of jackets, decks and risers.
    - From January 2004 to January 2007: Polaris. She is a versatile construction vessel designed for deepwater operations and is fitted mainly with a DP3 positioning system, a heavy lift and deep sea lowering crane, one S-lay rigid pipe production line, one J-lay rigid pipe production line and 2 ROV. During my assignment, she underwent a number of projects in West Africa including rigid pipelaying in S and J modes, installation of steel catenary risers, installation of heavy jackets, decks and bridges.

    The main responsibilities of the Field Engineer are to:
    - Assist the project in developing optimized installation procedures in line with the vessel capabilities and sourcing all equipment required for the project operations.
    - Prepare and organize the mobilization and demobilization of the vessel for forthcoming projects in terms of shipment of project specific equipment, selection and training of personnel, definition and implementation of assets on board the vessel...
    - Organize and supervise the operations on site.

    Countries covered during my assignment include Nigeria, Angola, Cameroun, Gabon and Congo. Typical clients are Shell, Total, ExxonMobil and Chevron.
