  * Monitor vital signs of patients. ;
  * Started IV's and IV therapy, blood sugar monitoring, blood transfusions, chest tubes, caring for drains ;
  * Prevent bedsores by frequently repositioning patients to avoid stress on the skin and checking pressure points. ;

  * Help form support groups for patients. ;
  * Help patients improve mobility and functionality by helping them to redesign their personal spaces and recommending gadgets and furniture that help to support the bone structure and promote healing.
