  • YooMee Africa - Group Online and Ecommerce Officer

    2013 - 2014 Developed strategy and led implementation of company's online and e-commerce ventures across several countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Grew and managed local teams. Initiated and nurtured local and international partnerships.

    2011 - 2012 Conceptualized, launched and developed Russia-Asia e-commerce marketplace, targeted to small businesses and retail customers. From concept to first orders in 2.5 months.

  • Naspers - Country Manager, e-commerce business

    2008 - 2011 General Management responsibility for the e-commerce business of MIH/Naspers, a media conglomerate with market cap of US$60B. Grew e-commerce business from one to five business lines and from five to 150 team in three years.

  • I2CIS - Managing Director

    2003 - 2008 Launched and developed specialized supply chain consultancy from the ground up. Grew to 100+ blue chip clients in retail, distribution, logistics and manufacturing industries.

  • FORD Motor Company - Business Development Manager / M&A Integration Manager

    Paris 2001 - 2003 Executed business development/M&A projects for the Ford's Aftermarket Services Division - a business unit, providing repair and spare parts sales to the entire Ford fleet of passenger cars across 19 European markets.

  • Deloitte Consulting - Manager, IT & Operations consulting

    Puteaux 1996 - 2000 Managed teams of 4-5 consultants on business process design and technology implementation projects. Turned around and effectively managed the consulting group through the 1998 financial crisis.
