  • FreeWheel - a Comcast company - Commercial Director, Northern Europe

    2014 - maintenant FreeWheel, a Comcast company, helps the largest players in the television industry generate revenue from their ad-supported content through a robust technology platform for ad management and monetization, a private marketplace for premium television inventory, and advisory services.
    My role is to: 1) Setup FreeWheel's business in Northern Europe (DACH & Nordics); 2) Attract clients and manage relationships; 3) Hire and manage FreeWheel's Northern European team.
  • Audible - an amazon company - Senior Content Acquisition Manager France

    2014 - 2014 Audible - an amazon company, is market leader for the distribution and production of audiobooks. As part of the audible.fr team, my role is to: 1) Negotiate distribution agreements with audiobook publishers; 2) Acquire audio rights from publishers and authors to produce audiobooks; 3) Shape the strategy for the development of Audible on the French market.
  • DG - Sales Manager DACH / Broadcast Relations Manager DACH, France & Benelux

    2012 - 2014 DG is global leader for the delivery of TV advertising and a major third-party ad-server with its DG MediaMind division. As part of the remote team setup to launch DG's TV activity in Europe, my role was to 1) develop DG's TV business in the DACH countries and acquire clients (targets: production and post prodcution, creative and media agencies, advertisers), 2) manage client support for DACH and 3) integrate all broadcasters and TV playouts in DACH, France and Benelux within the DG ad delivery network.
  • UMedia Family - Production Agent

    2010 - 2010 uMedia is the most successful film fund based on the Belgian tax shelter scheme. My role was to source investment opportunities in the German speaking countries as well as in Northern Europe.
  • Mediapeers - International Manager Business Development & Sales

    2010 - 2012 mediapeers is a SaaS solution for international sales companies of audiovisual right enabling to manage (asset management), market (CRM and streaming), license (rights and contract management) and deliver content (TV and films). My role was to 1) attract European clients, 2) develop marketing partnerships and business models targeted at the various market segments , 3) manage the implementation of the service for new clients, 4) draft tender applications to apply for European funding (MEDIA Programme)
  • Media Deals - General Secretary

    2008 - 2012 Investment network focussing on mediatech (film, TV, games, ecommerce, social networks, mobile) and composed of business angels, venture capital funds and specialised funds from across Europe. As one of the network's co-founders, my role was to 1) attract investors to join the network, 2) source investment opportunities, 3) advise entrepreneurs on their business plan and pitch presentation, 4) organise and run investment forums and 5) coordinate the network's input within European consortiums.

    PAU 2003 - 2010 peacefulfish is one of Europe's leading consulting boutique in the area of the creative industries (film, tv, music, games, digital content). As an independant consultant, I worked with peacefulfish on a number of projects accross Europe with a focus on financing, private equity, strategic studies, business planning. My role included 1) managing consultant teams, 2) designing and running studies or consulting projects and 3) coordinating European consortiums.

    Casablanca 2002 - 2010 As MLC, I worked as a freelance business consultant for 8 years. Over this period, I have been able to successfully complete a number of business projects mainly in the media, entertainment and technology industries in various countries including Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the UK and the USA. My focus was on business development, financing, market research and innovation.
  • Wanaûmé - Team member & blogger

    2002 - 2002 Wanaûmé was a sponsor-financed expedition around the world: A team of 4 with 2 Land Rover Discovery Td5s. I joined the team to travel through Chile, Bolivia and Peru. My role was to 1) attract international and local sponsors and 2) edit the expedition's blog on French platform Voila.fr in partnership with France Telecom.
  • Die argonauten - Project Manager

    2000 - 2002 At the time, die argonauten was the biggest privately held online agency in Germany, member of the Grey Group. The company was merged within Geometry Global, part of the Ogilvy & Mather network. My role at die argonauten was to manage teams 1) to deliver websites and online communication strategies to various clients in the DACH countries, and 2) to participate to advertiser pitches.
  • Alcatel - Sales Marketing Manager

    Paris 1999 - 2000 Alcatel is one of the world's leading telecommunications company. Within the German business telephony division, I was involved in the introduction of Alcatel's first product line enabling IP telephony. My role was to 1) provide marketing documentation to the sales team, 2) do market research to define the German pricing strategy, 3) link with the controlling department for implement the price list in SAP and 4) run a prospective analysis to define the marketing plan and sales objectives for Germany.
  • Setel France - Junior Consultant

    1998 - 1998 Setel France was a boutique consultancy specialised in market analysis and strategic studies for economical development projects in the field of tourism, leisure and culture. The company later became part of Tourisme et Développement International (TDI). My role at Setel was to 1) draft concept and business plans for tourism infrastructures and 2) run srategic studies for French regions.
