Entreprises

  • Bureau Veritas (Rotterdam, Pays-Bas) - Architecte naval - Plan approval surveyor

    2011 - maintenant Review of different types of structural ship drawings.
    - New construction - principal types of ship: general cargo, tanker, dredger, tug, pontoon, crew boat, high speed craft, wind farm vessel.
    - Conversion (ex: general cargo type to cement carrier, lengthening, draft increase,...).
    - Hull material: steel, aluminium and composite.
    - Seagoing and Inland navigation.

    Structural analysis using Finite Element Method (FEMAP and Hydro-Structure interactions softwares developed by Bureau Veritas) mainly for Dredger, LPG and FPSO:
    - Strength analysis on three cargo hold ship model,
    - Strength analysis on complete ship model (using BV software for direct hydro-structure calculations, i.e. for the computation of the structural response of a floating unit facing given wave conditions)
    - Deterministic fatigue analysis on three cargo hold ship model,
    - Spectral fatigue analysis on complete ship model,
    - Local strength calculation (critical items on ship structure such as crane/towing bitt integration,LPG tank support,..).

    Hydrodynamic analysis:
    - Study of ships' accelerations using hydrodynamic software developed by Bureau Veritas.

    Involved in the study of crashworthiness analysis for Inland Gas Tanker in conformity with ADN regulation.
  • TNO (Delft, Pays-Bas) - Stage de fin d'étude / Master thesis

    2011 - 2011 Validation of a numerical sloshing prediction method by experimental tests.
    Sloshing tests were realized in the laboratory of TNO and modeled by finite element method on LS-Dyna in order to predict the pressure obtained on a vertical flexible structure after the impact of a fluid and its deformation.
  • MARIN (Wageningen, Pays-Bas) - Stage / Assistant engineer

    2010 - 2010 Two months internship as assistant engineer in order to evaluate the energy that can be extracted from a pitching and heaving ship.

Formations

  • ENSTA BRETAGNE (Ex ENSIETA)

    Brest 2008 - 2011 ENSTA Bretagne trains engineers capable of analyzing and designing a naval or offshore platform integrating all aspects of naval architecture and respecting specification.

    Projects:
    Study of buckling of metallic cans (experimental test compared with numerical model on FE software abaqus);
    Simulation of the breaking wave phenomenon (using CFD software FINE/Marine);
    Conception of a coast guard.
