En résumé

Je viens de terminer mes études d'ingénieur spécialisé en Géologie et Géophysique. J'ai toujours voulu travailler dans l'exploration pétrolière et plus particulièrement sur le terrain. En janvier 2010, j'ai débute comme Field Engineer avec WesternGeco. Je pense trouver dans ce poste l'excitation, le challenge, des responsabilités et ainsi avoir une expérience qui fera la différence.

Cette annee j'ai fait preuve d'ambition et j'ai montré que je me donnais les moyens d'obtenir ce que je voulais.

  • Schlumberger WesternGeco - Field Geophysicist

    2010 - maintenant I am Field Geophysicist on a seismic vessel where I am responsible for the QC and the seismic Processing. I am working on a rotation schedule, after 5 weeks offshore I am joining the company headquarter in Gatwick for an office assignment. The advantage is that I am gaining experience on various type of project and on different stage of the processing and the imaging.

    At the moment I am getting experience about :
    - 4D and 4C Seismic Processing
    - Time / Depth Imaging
    - Fast Track 3D Marine Processing (including imaging sequence DMO, PreSTM, PSTM)

  • WesternGeco - Schlumberger (STAVANGER NORWAY) - Seismic engineer trainee

    2009 - 2009 3D & 4D processing, Seismic visualization, horizon picking, velocity model building.

    According to a processing road map, my task was to test and process the seismic data to improve their quality. This work was performed using Omega the software developped by WesternGeco.

    My main achievements are to have run all my projects successfully and to have written a guideline to improve the way to Quality Control the 4D seismic data.

  • IFP School ( Rueil Malmaison FRANCE) - Geologist trainee

    2009 - 2009 Well log interpretation, correction using Geolog 6

    I have analysed well logs using GR, resistivity, sonic, density neutron, PS.
    and realized the formation evaluation.

  • TOTAL ( PAU FRANCE) - Geologist trainee

    2008 - 2008 3D Geological modeling,

    My task was to assess the amount of Hydrocarbon in a reservoir using two different softwares and to study the results.

    After having created the reservoir grid, I simulated different spatial distribution of the petrophysical properties using a Monte Carlo approach.
