I am specialized in Electronic Market Purchasing after 11 years spent buying PCBA & electronic components by :
- leading a team of dedicated buyers to cover EMEA business for 100M€ total spend
- achieving consequent costs savings year on year (5%+) by negotiating, changing suppliers and proceeding to technical "design to cost" evolutions in collaboration with R&D.
- selecting the best supplier panel for our activity and our constraints
- managing key suppliers relationship building common growing strategies
- insuring a best in class quality and supply chain performance from our suppliers to better serve our customers
- designing robust programs to prevent from any kind of situation or event that can affect our business (obsolescence, earthquakes, ...)
As purchase cost reduction is essential to remain competitive and generate profit in western countries, I developed also a strong ability to build and drive relevant facilities purchasing performance program by being Purchasing Manager of 5 different plants for 7 years. These programs allowed this plant to achieve a minimum and sustainable 5% saving on purchase year on year.
