As a graduate from the Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, I had the opportunity to study and work on many topics such as energy management in urban environment and its integration in urban and transport planning. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I got fascinated by the energy field, notably resources management, policy design and energy markets.
During my last year as engineering student, I had the chance and responsibility to lead a major project about decentralization in the energy sector in the region of Paris, studying and designing new proposals concerning action-levers and governance structure for leading this national process at a local scale. This first experience aroused my curiosity about how energy policies at national scale are developed and lead to operational planning at local scale in a context of energy transition where territorial authorities are intended to take the lead.
Then I decided to get a professional experience in the field of energy strategy for my last year internship as urban engineering student. I worked as a consultant for Explicit (Paris) providing energy strategy consulting to local governments aiming for designing their energy and climate policy. During this internship, I made it a habit to read on a daily newspaper such as Enerpresse focusing on energy policies and markets at both French and international scales.
Willing to work for institutions/companies analyzing geopolitical issues and their impacts on energy markets, I am currently applying for cutting-edge Master programs in economics and political science and its internship as I believe they are essential additions to my engineering education and to the realization of my professional projects.
