As Partner Systems Engineer and part of the Cisco Data Center team for Belgium & Luxemburg, I was accountable in tandem with my Account Managers to achieve sales pipeline with predictable business results that exceed revenue targets.
As per the Cisco global organization segmentation, my expertise is focused on the Cisco Datacenter/Virtualization and Cloud Architecture. In my presales role I was evangelizing and facilitating the adoption of our new and innovative Datacenter solutions by Partners and customers.
Besides the tactical Sales opportunities and partners enablement, I'm managing the organization of large partners events (EMEA wide), workshops and presentations to customers and partners.
While Cisco boomed the x86 Server market with the UCS solution set, I was able create strong relationship with Cisco's Alliance Partners like VMware, Microsoft, Netapp, Citrix and EMC.
My daily work consists of meeting customers, drive Partner enablement according to the partner business plans, help to answer RFP's, managing Proof of Concepts, presentation in customer meetings, etc...
