Experienced Database Administrator offering over 12 years of success leading all phases of diverse technology projects. I have been involved in all aspects of the Design Lifecycle and have used a variety of design methodologies and tools.. I have detailed knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and the objects used within Oracle. More recently I have been involved with Data Warehousing projects (Db volume of 5 TB), utilising Genio (an ETL application), and DataStage.     Montataire 2004 - 2009 Worked with business and technical customers to gather and translate requirements into an appropriate database solution. As senior Project leader I have used these plans to design, implement and document for DataMart environments with a wide range of users needs.
    Accomplishments:
    • Responsible for designing, maintaining and tuning complex databases.
    • Designed and implemented highly available and sustainable database infrastructures for mission critical environments.
    • Documented and trained the support staffs on ongoing support of all solutions implemented.
    • Worked with programmers to identify current performance bottlenecks in systems.

  • LaSer Cofinoga - DBA Etude

    Paris 2002 - 2004 Handled in-house application development, and Data base administration for marketing division. Main functions are development and production for different campaign and customer survey project offices. This division is responsible for the data transmission to the all credit Bureaus and other external clients like CFS (UK), Belgium, and Portugal.
    Primary responsibilities included analysing, designing, programming, testing and documenting financial information systems for the Oracle database version 8i & 9i. Supported all phases of the system lifecycle, including problem resolution, system fixes and major enhancements for existing production applications.
    Accomplishments:
    • Performed needed DBA tasks to redesign and tune an Oracle 8i database on Windows 2000 server and SUN Solaris (SF15K).
    • Successfully designed and developed a backup/recovery strategy and procedures for an Oracle 8i database instances.
    • Write scripts to monitor database growth and gather statistics
    • Handle campaign processes, Data loading, Account Review Process, Business Card process etc…
    • ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) process development using GENIO.
