    2003 - 2005 Pre opening

    • Build awareness for the hotel in key markets and industries to drive business
    • In charge of the positioning of the hotel, including the Spa, the restaurant and the bar
    • Development of the marketing strategy and implementation of the pre opening marketing action plan (product and communication) and budget
    • Spa: supplier negotiations and contracting; close work with the architect; gym and Spa equipment supplier negotiations
    • Close relationships with the Sales department to support the commercial strategy
    • Conception of pre-opening marketing materials
    • Implementation of the regional marketing programs in the hotel

    Post opening

    • Development and implementation of yearly marketing action plans
    • Preparation and follow-up of yearly budgets
    • Design of marketing materials / Sales support tools (brochures, posters, flyers, image bank, 4’ film…) including materials for key and niche markets
    • Creation of innovative tools (novels set in the hotel, own water label, luxury VIP gifts etc)
    • Press relations: writing/distribution of press releases, development of press kits, organization of press conferences, press interviews
    • Contracting and management of the external PR agencies for the UK and US markets (including press trips organization)
    • Spa: close relationships to develop cross-selling activities and to increase business from both internal and external guests with in-house and external actions: marketing materials, mailings, PR activities, innovative packages, development of new products including guidelines for the therapists (all steps from the booking to the departure of the guest, and after the departure to increase loyalty)
    • Main contributor for the hotel’s websites (French and English)
    • Advertising campaigns in the key markets
    • Development of partnership opportunities (car rental, art gallery…)
    • Development of creative and targeted promotions to communicate through Hilton customer loyalty program (HHonors) media, on Hilton websites and in various communication opportunities
    • Mailings/e-mailings on specific markets/targets (meeting planners, pharmaceutical companies…)
    • Implementation of a bi-monthly e-newsletter dedicated to the 5 Hilton in Paris (French & English versions)
    • Positioning of the restaurant and bar: signage, in-house advertising, sensory marketing, branded items, themed events, cross-selling with the Spa
    • Lead projects and delegate actions to the food & beverage Sales person to improve the positioning of the restaurant & bar and generate business
