I am a global communications strategist with more than 15 years’ experience gained across some 100 countries. My track record in a wide range of industry sectors - in particular lifestyle, domestic appliances and business services as well as varying organisational sizes (from Fortune 500 to independent PR agency) -gives me a unique perspective on organisational culture, values and change.

I have extensive experience across the full range of communications skills ; such as media relations, internal, public relations, communications around corporate reputation management, brand building, crisis issues and other critical points of change and development in a company’s life.

I am fluent both in French and English, and professional fluency in Spanish.

  • Regus - Group Head of Communications

    Paris 2006 - maintenant With a budget of £1.5 million, I have developed various communications activities across Regus’ diverse geographic and customer portfolio. All communications activity is designed to position Regus as the global workplace provider, as an innovator and thought leader around the new way to work and, ultimately, to drive enquiries and revenue. Notable achievements to date include:
    • Created a PR and communication department for the EMEA region;
    • Helped develop an innovative approach to media relations for the entire Regus Group. Implemented a proactive and results orientated campaign delivering quality press coverage across 102 countries as well as linking agency remuneration to results. This has driven an increase in coverage of between 25% and 85% per annum since 2009;
    • Initiated and enriched an internal communication e-newsletter for the EMEA region (1 500 employees) which was then used as template globally
    • Deputised for the Group Communications Director on various corporate projects and team management;
    • Managed strategic corporate projects such as partnership signature announcement with Group CEO (SNCF or Shell), product launches (Rinspeed self-driving car);
    • Providing senior strategic communications counsel to regional CEOs and in-country operations team;
    • Ensured global roll out of campaigns which placed thought leadership and original research at the heart of creating a debate on the future of work.
  • Dyson - PR Manager

    Paris 2002 - 2005 Responsible for the external communications strategy and tools for the French branch, in coordination with the Group Headquarters based in the UK. This covered media relations, agency management, brand positioning, advertising, off media communication and events. Notable achievements included:
    • Implemented ‘best-in-class’ external communications programme which served to implement the brand on a new market and position it as cutting edge technological and respected player not only in the domestic appliances world but also among the French design community;
    • Coordinated a €3m media buying campaign throughout a mix of television, radio, print and online ads.
    • Developed strong relationships with key institutional and opinion leaders such as Designers Days, recognised Design schools, Great Britain Embassy;
    • Enhanced press relations which led to an increase in coverage by 20% per annum;
    • Conception and implementation of animations in the Parisian showroom which resulted in an increase of 400% in the number of visitors in 3 years;
    • Managed creation, translation and launch of James Dyson, in liaison with publishing houses.
  • Event International - Chef de Projet International

    1999 - 2001 Responsible for Chocolate Shows and Great Wine Shows coordination (Paris, New York, Tokyo, Lausanne) as well as their animations programme. Negotiated and implemented communication plans, partnerships and media agreements. Selling of the Great Wines Show stands (turnover of 500K €/annum). In charge of the copywriting and editing of commercial and communication documents.
