After 30 years in the marine insurance and risk management, I decided to take over a company in Belgium active in trading & business solutions whereof domiciliations in Luxembourg and Belgium.
I remain open for some specific missions of consultency in transport insurance for companies (assureds) who need neutral advices (outside their broker and insurers who are Judge & Judge in their advices.

    2017 - maintenant Behal Group est active dans
    * le négoce de granulés de bois (wood pellets),
    * la vente de poêles à pellets
    * Business solutions (domiciliation au LU et BE)
    * Conteneurs habitations et conteneurs boulangerie

  • Aon Belgium - Practice Leader Transportation & Marine

    Paris 2008 - 2016 Restructure the department, move from a technical department to a Practice, improve the IT, adapt the processes, clean up the portfolio and develop the business mostly on an international level.
    Result: double digit increase for the 2nd year + hiring of new collaborators & an international recognition of our capabilities, including inside our Group, worldwide # 1 in the insurance brokerage and risk management.

  • Marsh - Directeur Marine Cargo

    Puteaux 1990 - 2008 Started as Account Executive in order to develop the retail business.
    Took over the responsability of the global retail business in 2000 that represents at that time about 1/3 of the portfolio (2/3 being the wholesale business).
    End 2008, the retail business represented more than 95 % of the global portfolio.
    Cargo leader for a team of 18 people in Brussels and member of the marine Board of Marsh Belgium (about 65 people).

  • BDM - Junior Underwriter

    1989 - 1990 Started in the claims department then in the underwriting. Developed the business with the most important brokers in Belgium and abroad. Also active in the reinsurance.
