Hello, I’m Olly Pocknell, founder of The Pocknell Food Company. I have always loved food in all its variety and a few years ago I stopped working for big restaurants and bars and set up my own company, and started my business catering in Essex. I wanted to share my passion for good food and the experience and knowledge I’ve gained over the last 20 years, with the public, not in restaurants, but in their own homes in and around Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
As a personal chef, I create personal menus by consulting my clients ensuring that their special occasion really is their own. As much as possible I like to use ingredients that are in season and from suppliers who are as local as possible. My greengrocer is at the end of my road!!
Quality is an essential part of the Pocknell Food Company offer and I have a wide reaching and ever growing list of local suppliers from whom I source my fresh ingredients, so that my food is full of flavour and goodness. Although I do some of the preparation work in my own kitchen, I prepare the majority of your food at your home, depending on your kitchen, so that all you have to do is relax and enjoy entertaining your guests.
It really doesn’t matter if you are having an intimate dinner for two, a family gathering for twenty or a birthday party for a hundred, I will provide excellent food that you and your guests will love. I can tailor a menu to your event whatever style of function you are planning. I can provide waiters and waitresses that have many years experience and have been working with me for many years.
Just one more thing – we do the clearing up, the washing up and take the rubbish away!
