Omar has had the opportunity to lead the Publication and Documentation Direction for one month, This opportunity, even if it was short, gave him the chance to put all his knowledge on Leadership, Employees management, Emotional Intelligence, into practice, he tried to use all leadership knowledge he knows for getting goals done. As interim Director of Publication and Documentation, Omar has in charge supervision of all tasks and operations related to Publication, documentation and Archives records, It was great experience for him.

As records manager, Omar is in charge of records management and administration (in both paper and electronic format) throughout its life cycle from creation or capture and classification, through management to long term archival, disposal or deletion.
Duties included:
- Analyzing all records operation for mitigating risk factors.
- Elaboration of records retention schedule in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Elaboration and Implementation of filing structure plan for digital records.
- Participating in implementation of electronic records management system.
- Participating in finding new technology aspects.
- Finding records and insuring that the right records are presented to the right person at the right time.
- Ensure an efficient and relevant distribution of documents.
- Organize documents and manage information security.
- Make sure that documents are correctly stored.
- Secure access to the documents.
- Wide remit to work across the ACCI to provide a high quality Records Management service that ensures compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines and legislation
- Lead the development and implementation of the information and records management framework.
- Leading the ACCI Record Retention and Disposal Schedule Project – Including research, analysis, records review. This required substantial engagement and negotiation with all structures inside ACCI.
- Staff training on ACCI Electronic Records Management – Staff included is records manager level II and secretaries – training included Records Scanning, Metadata tagging, Records Indexing.
- Leading ACCI Filing Structure Plan Project for Electronic Records and Archive.
- Defining and leading Managing Electronic Records Management strategy across ACCI.
- Records access policy Definition.
- Leading SharePoint site collection administration.
- Leading the Records Management Procedures Elaboration and application from records creation to disposal.

Omar has passed 6 moths average in the largest company of Oil and Gas in Africa “SONATRACH”, he had the chance to see how records are managed, and put the things he learned in school into practice. This helped Omar to gain work experience in his field of study.
The internship was for both, Work experience and Research, so Omar has realized his Master's final studies project in the same company, the project titled, ISO 15489 applicability in Algerian economic companies: case of SONATRACH general direction.
