I am currently a Senior Economist with PricewaterhouseCoopers and I have been performing to an exceptional standard in this challenging post for past few months. This role, in conjunction with previous positions and educational pursuits, has been instrumental in the attainment and development of skills necessary for a successful career as an economist.

In my professional career, I have excelled across a diverse selection of positions and collaborated effectively with both internal and external personnel. In my most recent role as an economist within a market research department of PwC, I was fully accountable for the provision of accurate macroeconomic forecasts which necessitated the use of my excellent skills in data analysis and modelling. In my previous role as a retail and pricing manager, I was crucial in the 150% increase in turnover during the 2006 to 2008 period and in substantially improving the competiveness of the company within the region.

I participate extensively within the “Asset Management 2020” project, applying my substantial macroeconomic expertise in performing investigations and providing forecasts of the global assets (including mutual funds, alternative and mandates).

    Additionally, my professional skills in the effective use of various statistical analysis software allows me to produce accurate macroeconomic forecasts which are based on tailored data models. During my time in this demanding role, I have been tasked with producing presentations on various topics for numerous external clients such as public organisations, pension fund managers, and insurance companies.
  • Aston University - Doctoral Researcher & Sessional Lecturer

    2010 - 2015 This position was instrumental in the advancement of my capabilities in performing economic investigations and analysis where I examined the determinants of asymmetric price transmission in European petroleum markets. As a sessional lecturer, I strived to facilitate the academic development of students through the delivery of informative and engaging tutorials, seminars, and lab sessions. Due to the quality of my teaching skills, I received a 95% positive feedback and was nominated for the best teacher accolade in 2014.
  • Legrand - Retail and Pricing Manager for the Near East

    Limoges 2006 - 2010 In this role, I played an instrumental part in a 150% increase in turnover during the 2006 to 2008 period in addition to improving the regional competiveness of the company product range by restructuring the transactional flows in relation to transfer pricing. I also was responsible for developing the electrical installations distributors network through additional countries. My research skills enabled me to conduct extensive market studies (with an emphasis on regional transfer pricing) where I obtained large amounts of information and used this data to produce the required documentation for company mergers and acquisitions.
