I am full Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, University of Auvergne, France since 1999. I am a researcher with CERDI (Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International - Center for Studies and Research on International Development), which is affiliated with the French CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). I am co-head of a Master degree in international development specialized in sustainable development in developing and transition economies which is a national diploma habilitated until 2016 (http://www.cerdi.org/sof/formation/idFormation/14849 ).
My research fields relate to sustainable development, environmental and natural resources economics, tropical deforestation, biodiversity, environmental policies. I recently published in Ecological Economics and was invited as a guest Editor for Environment and Resource Economics. I am currently supervising 3 PhD students in International Development Economics. I will co-organise the third conference on the Environment and Natural Resources Management in Developing and Transition Economies, with a preconference on Climate Policies in Developing Countries to be held from October 8th to 10th 2014 (http://enrmdte2014.sciencesconf.org/ ).
