My main area of SAP knowledge is within the FI modules General Ledger (including New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, some Asset Accounting and how they are integrated with other modules such as SD, MM and CO. I am used to being the interface between the business process team and the technical/data team. I also understand local, legal requirements for several countries in the areas of VAT taxation and legal reporting, VAT, INTRASTAT etc.) within FI. I have also had a lot of exposure to New GL and migrations from old versions of SAP and non-SAP systems.

I am a senior FI Consultant, Team Lead, System Architect, Solution Architect and Business Analyst and have been working with SAP for over 25 years. In many of my projects I have been put in the role of managing teams of consultants and/or developers and am often the main integration link between the business process and the technical side because I understand both. I have often managed the whole cycle of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). I have often been involved in the migration of master data and transactional data. I am a qualified Project Manager and am a PMP. In many of my projects I have provided end-user production support and training (in English or French). I have often been responsible for functional integration and designing best solutions for specific business requirements and have often been involved in master data and transactional data migration using LSMW and other tools.

I have worked in the areas of Pharmaceutical, Retail, High-Tech, Steel production, Oil and Gas, Electrical components, Domestic appliances, Films and Entertainment, Transport, Clothing, Food and various other types of business.

I am skilled in project preparation and system architecture, requirements gathering and analysis, fit/gap analysis, realization/configuration, project management, migration of master data, helping to develop and test interfaces, User Acceptance Testing, Go-live, change management, post-production support and training (in both English and French). I have, many times, created business blueprints and end-user documentation.
I have implemented SAP in many different countries including France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Australia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic and UK etc.
The projects have been rollouts, full life-cycle projects, upgrades, transactional and master data migrations and changes in organisation structure.
 
In most of the projects I have been involved in writing documentation: functional specifications for developments of interfaces and new functional requirements, integrated business process documentation, process testing scripts, and training documentation.

In many projects, I have been involved in training key-users and end-users.

I have used other tools such as HP Quality Centre, Mercury Test Director, Remedy Incident Management, Sharepoint, Lotus Notes and Solution Manager etc.
  
I consider my main strengths to be able to discuss business processes at all levels within the customer organisation and project organisation and then correctly and efficiently implement that process within the integrated SAP scenario and solve functional process and technical issues. This means understanding the needs of customer management, project management key-users, end-users, technical SAP consultants and programmers in all the modules.

I am prepared to work in any country in the world where the language of the project is either English or French.

    TASK: Upgrading the production environment for a multi-national implementation to the latest release of SAP and implementing another organisational entity into the same system.

    TASK: Being a mainly UK based company, M.F.I. needed a French-speaking SAP financial expert to conduct User Acceptance Testing at their subsidiary's head office in Lille, France. My job was to assist them in testing, to report any technical issues and get their acceptance of the system.
