CONTEXT: Delhaize required a senior FI consultant to be the link between the users, the project team and the developers at this critical stage in the implementation.

BACKGROUND: Creating the blueprint for a French kernel plus European rollout SAP project with the goal of implementing the purchasing and finance modules.
CONTEXT: The use of common approaches to processes across Hays Logistics e.g. common chart of accounts, customers, vendors and numbering/naming conventions where possible.
Rationalization of multiple systems to a single common solution.
Design a fully integrated and flexible solution, which would allow Hays to change and evolve processes and structures without technical constraints. Design and produce training material and documentation and deliver end-user and key-user training.
TASK: Manage the timing and resources for the blueprint phase of the project.
Lead a team of consultants to produce the blueprint in a complete, accurate and timely fashion.
Ensure that the system will be fit for the purpose as defined by the European, Hays and user community.
