I am a thirty two year old drilling engineer with eight years of experience in the oilfield. My experience of well construction spans from working as a roughneck on trailer mounted rigs to drilling supervision on a deep water drill-ship and drilling engineering. I am passionate about my work and committed to safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Petroceltic - Drilling Engineer

    2014 - maintenant I currently work as a Drilling Engineer based in Alger as member of the Groupement Isarene team. The project is a tight gas field development in a remote desert location. My responsibility is to establish relationship with local and international supplier and write technical and commercial tender documentation for the future well construction and work over operation. (Liner, Mud, Cementing services, Casing handling services, Wellheads, etc…)
  • Senergy - Drilling Engineer

    2014 - 2014 Among other preparatory work for the Glencore PRT1x exploration well in the Douala basin, I provided a survey and technical report related to the Weatherford MPD system onboard of the Jackup Atwood Aurora. The purpose of the report was the reduction of the MPD system rig up duration.
  • British Gas - Auxilliary Drilling Supervisor

    2013 - 2013 I worked as an auxiliary drilling supervisor on the drillship Deep Sea Metro -1 for six weeks. The project was a deepwater gas development well offshore Tanzania (Mzia-3). My role was to supervise the auxiliary derrick activities, preparing casing and BHA offline, checking cement volume calculations, performing casing tallies and reporting the lessons learned in order to improve the dual derrick operation efficiency.
  • Nightshift Drilling - Supervisor

    2013 - 2013 I worked as a nightshift drilling supervisor on a geothermal wells doublet project in the Paris Basin in France for the company GPC IP. This worked included cost follow up and well testing.

  • REPSOL Norway - Drilling Engineer

    2012 - 2013 I have been working for REPSOL AS in Oslo as a drilling engineer/Wellsite engineer. My duties included filling the REPSOL database reporting system while offshore and assisting the management team onshore. (Offset well review, technical review of tender, computer simulation with Wellplan, Compass, Stresscheck, etc...).

    I completed an assignment on the Transocean Barents as a Wellsite engineer (6th Generation DP, artic class, deep-water semi-submersible), the project was a wildcat well in the Barents sea.
  • Aminex - Drilling Engineer & Nightshift supervisor

    2012 - 2012 I worked for AMINEX in Tanzania as a drilling engineer. I have been writing end of well reports for the Nyuni-2 Island exploration and Ntorya-1 onshore exploration wells as well as an end of well test report for Ntorya-1. I also provided site supervision services as a company representative (gas well abandonment).
  • Maurel & Prom - Drilling Engineer

    Paris 2012 - 2012 I have been in charge of the cost control and nightshift supervision of an onshore well in southern Tanzania for the French O&G operating company Maurel & Prom. This challenging exploration project required remote logistic operations and the start-up of a cold stacked rig. (Well: Ziwani-1, Rig: Electric, Triple, Caroil-5).
