  My Responsibilities includes leading a team of four members, delegating software testing tasks to them. Identifying
  their competencies, Training needs, Mentoring team members, Managing team work hours during a project period.
  Working in coordination with different project team members spread geographically over different countries India,
  USA, UK, and China. Interacting with Project stake holders regularly for updating the status from QA side.
  
  My achievements includes quick and effective project delivery with quality to the internal stake holders within
  scheduled time. Achieved a 12% faster delivery time on the first project itself and later to a healthy 15% quicker
  time in delivery of the projects with quality than the average projects delivery in the company. Grew from Senior
  Software Engineer to Principal Quality Engineer with responsibilities of Team Lead in just six months of joining
  time. Worked on the selected MTM tool as one of the selected Alpha and Beta users. Conducted training and
  workshops for the other team members across the world in MTM which was later implemented in regular usage.
  
  Other working areas are Preparation and review of Test plans, Test case documents, Hands on execution along
  with the team, Reporting, Interacting and escalating when needed to the Internal Stake holders.
  Also involved in dealing with Production support issue verification and delegation to corresponding testers,
  developers and holding responsibility till they are resolved and closed.
  
  Worked on a vast and a complex proprietary product, Kenexa 2x BrassRing®, which is developed in ASP and then
  migrated to Dot Net. It is highly configurable and scalable, meeting the needs of companies with highly complex,
  decentralized recruiting processes or multinational organizations with multilingual requirements. Candidates can be
  assessed directly within the recruiting solution workflow, eliminating the need to switch between applications.
  
  Technology and Tools:
  
  The applications were developed in ASP and Dot Net under windows with SQL database. Performed
  functional, system testing using mostly by executing manually and regression test suites by running
  Selenium and Silk test scripts on a proprietary automated framework called Automatic Test Manager(ATM).
  The Software development methodology followed is Scrum Agile methodology where testing performed in
  each Sprint cycle.
  Test Plan management is done using Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) where all test plans, related suites and
  Test cases were created and maintained. Defect tracking is done through Quality Center (9.0). Managed four
  Testers working on different projects and tracked their progress and work through Redmine browser based
  project tracking tool. Mentored my team on their daily project work activities, general QA & software
  testing best practices and trained them in needed areas. Trained different teams on MTM tool for Test Plan
  Management.

  Asia. It is one of the emerging software companies in Business Intelligence, communication software and software
  republishing in Mobility, Utility and Productivity fields around the world.
  
  In these projects I have started as `QA Technician' and later evolved as `Software Engineer'. Involved and has participated in reviewing the functional specifications, analysing the testing needs, creating, writing and maintaining test plans, executing the integration, validation, functional, performance and regression test suites and test cases using TestComplete and Test Link. Worked in coordination with the developers and managed a project quality test team in complete software testing cycle. The quality methodology is mostly based on set of practices customized from Six Sigma methodology and CMM.
  
  Maintained scripts for various mobile devices and communication devices based on their features and
  product functionalities.
  
  Successfully launched and delivered the product versions integrated along with Original equipment
  manufactures (OEM) products and also into world retail marketing. Written a `Quick User Manual' in
  English, for the end user to easily start using an application. Major clients worked for are Motorola,
  SonyEriccson, Blueway etc.
  
  Interacted regularly with developers, product management and other test teams spread internationally over
  USA, India, China, England and other parts of Europe.
  
  Initiated to launch a pilot project on DataMining for improving customer's use experience. Presented the
  importance of DataMining technology and related Business Intelligence products to the R & D department
  and Product Management.
