• OMV - Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

  Paris 2014 - maintenant Being a member of the Maintenance Engineering direction, working on developing Oil & Gas production in the South of Tunisia blocks, my role was consisting of:
  
  • Conduct field performance tests on rotating equipment as needed in the course of resolving operational or efficiency problems (Caterpillar G3516, Ariel JGK-4 and JGT-4, Waukesha L5794GSI...etc).
  • Develop and review operating procedures for plant rotating equipment as needed.
  • Develop maintenance and/or overhaul scope and/or procedures for major pieces of rotating equipment associated with routine repairs, as well as Turnarounds.
  • Manage the documentation of rotating equipment related activities.
  • Coordinate and supervise field repair contractors.
  • Acts as Team Leader on the initiation and development of new projects which primarily involve rotating equipment.

• SEREPT - Offshore maintenance superintendent

  Hammam Lif 2009 - 2014 Managing the maintenance of ASHTART assets consisting of different technologies ranging from eighties technologies (e.g. pneumatic control systems) to the most up to date technologies (e.g. d distributed control systems)
  Managing the offshore maintenance (i.e. mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and HVAC) team composed of 40 persons per shift and located on the central platforms, the FSO and the satellite platform
  The position is challenging from technical knowledge point of view and personnel management point of view with non-evenly skilled multi-disciplinary team.
  The main facets of the position have been:
  • Set and maintained standards. Provided motivation and training to ensure employees realized that their work was meaningful. Influenced and encouraged personnel to participate in self-improvement processes.
  • Prepared maintenance daily and monthly reports highlighting major activities and KPI’s
  • Communicated regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
  • Investigated safety violations and maintained manager walk around in line with SEREPT HSE management system.
  • Mentoring through expertise in mechanics, maintenance and planning.
  • Utilized troubleshooting publications to solve problems. Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and requirements for various mechanical processes.
  • Developed training master plan for all maintenance team according to job needs
  • Participated in objective setting, plan development and performance review of equipment performance
  • Maximized reliability of the equipment within maintenance area of responsibility
  • Analyzed incident reports according to SEREPT standards and using root cause analysis method.
  • Participated in the elaboration of the annual operating and capital maintenance budget.

• SEREPT - Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

  Hammam Lif 2008 - 2009 - Ensure the availability of the mechanical equipments (especially rotary equipments) and facilities of ASHTART field (offshore platform).
  - Planning, launching & follow up of mechanical interventions (curative, preventive and predictive interventions).
  - Prepare safety improvement files for equipments and ensure the application of the concept of quality improvement.
  - Keep it all site interventions filed in the CMMS system in order and keep it the workshops updated with the latest data.
  - Run Maintenance costs and determine the annual budget of all equipments.
