    Lyon 2014 - maintenant Global Leader to ensure that the integrated research strategy is implemented throughout R&D of Bayer CropScience for Crop Efficiency Global Indication. To ensure that all scientific and portfolio synergies in R&D are fully exploited and to maximize the use of existing expertize across sites and units. Global Head of Crop Efficiency R&D team which includes representatives from Research (Traits, Chemicals, Biologicals), Breeding, Development, Portfolio Management and Regulatory Affairs as well as Strategy and Business Management to steer Phase 0 & 1 projects.

  • Bayer - Global Project Manager

    Lyon 2007 - 2014 Responsible for development projects from the end of research to the launch in a Biotech Business Unit of the Bayer group. Transversal coordination between many different departments within the company : research, regulatory affairs, toxicology, intellectual property, marketing, stewardship, communication, legal, country entities, etc… Objectives : shortest time to submission, development of most effective registration strategy and to launch Biotech products in the market to achieve the shortest time to peak sales and maximize the operating results.

    o Budget:
    - Elaborate project budgets in relationship with each function, particularly on the next 3 years, but including also a view on their whole duration.
    - Operate costs management controlling over-expenses: priority between projects and between func-tions inside a project, following expenses and modification impacts, frequent re-evaluation to have updated vision at any moment.

    o Timelines :
    - Priority definitions and controlling of ratio costs/timelines/delays at each project step.
    -Foresee changes and potential deviations, and overall propose solutions and action plans to keep timelines.

    o Tools :
    - Economic evaluation of projects: NPV, P&L, OPC, Tornado diagrams, decision trees, etc…
    - Risk Management
    - Planning of projects via softwares
    - Global tools to pilot and analyze performances.

    o R&D Portfolio Management :
    - SDA methodology
    - Prioritization across projects & technologies using technical & financial indicators

    o Management and Communication :
    - Creation of project teams: Core Team, Extended Team
    - Management out of hierarchy : transversal coordination in a matrix organization
