  • Quartet Financial Systems - Product Manager - ActivePivot - RealTime Business Intelligence

    2010 - 2012 - Selected to start the business activities of ActivePivot in North America. During 2 years lead the development of a pipeline of opportunities in tier one banks, insurance companies and hedge funds, successfully converted into satisfied customers. More than 5 million dollars of turnover was generated and expanding.
    - As a product manager and technical expert I worked in cooperation with salesmen to define the best selling strategies. I actively participated in numerous pre-sales meeting, proof-of-concepts, RFPs and contract closures with major players in the New York financial place.
    - Hired, trained and managed a technical team of 15 people able to handle integration projects in the very demanding world of finance. On each new project, I helped on-site teams to define the best architecture and datamodel in adequacy to customers' environments and requirements.
    - Technical coordination QuartetFS' teams around the world: Paris, London, Singapore, Hong-Kong and Shangai.
    Acted as a sentinel on new technologies and research of innovative solutions. Cooperation with R&D members in order to define future directions of the product.

  • Quartet Financial Systems - Software Developer - Product Leader

    2007 - 2010 - Attracted by startups in leading edge software development, I joined QuartetFS at his early stage.
    - First developer and major contributor of a new leading edge real-time business intelligence server called ActivePivot.
    - Technical foundations include in-memory transactional aggregation and indexation, column data storage, bitmap indexation, real-time MDX query engine, streaming and swapping to disk. I always had to find the best trade-off between performance, features and usability of the API integrated into constantly changing customers' environment in Finance.
    - Within 3 years we transformed an idea into a world established solution to aggregate and report on massive and realtime datastreams of information.
    - In this context I managed in addition of my involvement in R&D successful proof of concepts for major investment banks in France, Germany, England, China, United States, Belgium, and Danemark.
    - Acclaimed for my oral skills I was involved in key presentations in annual user groups and in various key meetings for customers as well as partners.

  • Intern in geometrical R&D - Intern

    2006 - 2006 - In charge of the research of a new geometric operator for CATIA, the Dassault Systemes’ PLM solution for digital product definition and simulation.
    - High complexity project to manage, numerous relations with programers and specialists in the domain.
    - Innovation skills required to build a non-existent product in advance of competitors ones.
