Romain COËMET

En résumé

During 5 years, I studied mechanical engineering at school and I developped my skills in international companies through internships. The last year,I spent 6 months in Sherbrooke University (Canada) where I had the opportunity to extend my competences in project management and development.

After these multiple experiences, I integrated Airbus Operations in order to take part to the development of the A350, first composite fuselage aircraft. Based on my 4 years mission for this program, I have built solid background in composite structure analysis.
That's why I moved recently to the new Beluga XL program in order to open my knowledge to different flying structures compared to what I knew before. On top, this mobility is fully in line with the company strategy and the global market regarding the development of multi-skills and networking.

  • Airbus Group - Metallic Structure Stress Engineer

Blagnac 2015 - maintenant Within the new Beluga XL program, I am working for structure assembly work package. Main objective of the team is to design and stress all structure parts between A330 baseline and the bubble on top of the fuselage.
In order to ensure robust design and stress in front of airworthiness autorities, test pyramid including tests of structure sub-components and full scale tests (ground tests, flight tests) has been agreed.
I am involved on all tests items relevant to the structure parts under responsability of the work package I am working for. My mission is to follow on stress side all these activities in order to be compliant with airworthiness requirements and to secure program global planning.
