    • Objective: set up and grow the Mobile Data business through Motorola existing EMEA Indirect Channel (region-wide network of distributors and dealers). This portfolio includes rugged laptops, in-vehicle workstations, PDAs and in-vehicle GSM phones.
    • Business management: plan the business for short term and longer term success ; achieve set targets ; determine pricing & services strategy
    • Marketing management: regional product management & channel support
  • Motorola - Business Development Manager

    Gif sur Yvette 2006 - 2007 Business Development role within Motorola Enterprise division.
    Mission followed two major steps:

    1. “Internal Consultant”: Support locally the US initiative to create and develop a new cross-sector business unit focusing on mobility solutions for the enterprise
    • Market analysis ; competitive benchmarking ; identification of the enterprise ecosystem (system integrators, ISVs, value added resellers)
    • Motorola portfolio gaps identification vs market trends (mobile office, wireless broadband, mobile computing)
    • Brainstorming on value propositions for specific enterprise use case (VoIP, FFA/SFA, automated meter reading, RFID, GPS applications etc.)
    • Identify existing key customer relationships and work on specific sales opportunities (focus on wireless networks and ruggedized data terminals )

    2. BDM within the Mobile Computing team
    • Report to the product and business development team based in Israel
    • Bring support (marketing & technical) to local sales team
    • Analysis and prioritization of European market opportunities and recommendations to the EMEA General Manager
    • After Motorola’s acquisition of Symbol confirmed in Jan 2007 (American company, $1.7 billion annual sales and 5,000 employees), work with the EMEA strategy department on the go-to-market integration workstream (market segmentation; portfolio fit; internal organization)

    Experience : good understanding of mobility market trends and key industry players’ strategy ; customer relationship (pre-sale) ; business development
  • Motorola - Attaché to the VP & President of Motorola France

    Motorola France in 2005 : turnover of €700M with ~1200 employees)

    • Support the Country Manager in his missions (external and internal communication, industry lobbying, cross-sector initiatives, crisis management etc.)
    • Specific missions for the corporate departments (Finance, R&D, Government Relations Office, communication, legal – for SoX compliance etc.)
    • Support Motorola’s operational business units (Mobile devices, Networks, Connected home) in cross-sector projects.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of country business, economic and governmental issues and provide monthly country intelligence reports (financial reporting, competitive analysis)
    • Organize and participate in Country Councils / Leadership Meetings quarterly
    • Prepare briefings for the CEO or board executives for their visits in France

    Experience: learnt how to quickly understand and adapt to the dynamics of a complex company; understand Motorola’s key technology assets; ability to work on multiple and diversified projects; drive innovative thinking; work within a team of senior executives and adapt to experience gap. A very autonomous position that requires professionalism, initiative, flexibility and reliability.
  • Ubi Soft - Assistant Brand Manager EMEA

    Support most aspects of project management for several video games (Tom Clancy’s brand): development supervision, packaging creation, advertising, localization, contribution to launching processes in European subsidiaries (commercial events)
