    Marne La Vallée Cedex 2 2011 - 2012 Research scientist in the Nutrient bioavaibility group (20 employees). Work in collaboration with scientists on fundamental and applied research.

    Development of analytical methods on Human milk fatty acids in order to obtain a worldwide data base on the human milk fat composition. Analytical methods consist in extraction and methylation of fatty acids from the raw milk then separation and analysis on a gas chromatography process. The final aim of the project should permit the automatic fatty acids extraction in the mean time than the gas chromatography analyses. This automated method should avoid routine analyses and time consuming.

    Part of the NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence), a recently implemented managing tool which should permit to record the efficiency and the productivity of the group. Development of this process within the group.
  • Nestle research center - Research Trainee

    2011 - 2011 Studied the influence of certain type of oils on the carotenoids bioavailability in a spinach matrix. Use of an in vitro digestion model to mimic the conditions in vivo and a cell culture model (Caco-2, enterocytes like cells) to represent the absorption of these micronutrients.

    In charge of the experimental part as well as the data analyses. Great freedom and implication in the project.

    Important skills in Nutrition, project management as well as a clear picture of the R&D field.
