In her capacity as internal legal counsel for several large industrial and service companies, Sophie has been involved in numerous project finance and M&A transactions. During a career spanning 13 years, she has developed a broad expertise in corporate legal matters, including greenfield development contracts, public/private partnerships, long term concessions contracts, and purchase and sale of equity interest in large management companies.
Her comprehensive skill set includes drafting and negotiation of long term contracts with public entities, construction and operation agreements with private companies and finance agreements with banks, as well as their related security packages.
With any given project, Sophie’s primary objective is to develop a clear understanding of the objectives of the company and its partners, and how to best execute them within the applicable legal framework. She is detail oriented but always keeps in mind the ‘big picture’ and the fundamentals of the project at hand.
Throughout her 13-year career, Sophie has shown great adaptability to diverse and sometimes challenging cultural environments. She has consistently demonstrated an efficient, non-adversarial approach dispute resolution.
