LIVERPOOL
My name is Sophie and I am a French animator graphic/designer who settled in Liverpool five years ago. Originally training in France on a graphic/design degree program, I gained valuable skills and knowledge. On completion of this degree I then moved to the UK to study on a Master’s program.
Six years ago I completed a Master’s Program in Art in Animation at Glyndwr University Wrexham (Wales). Whilst there, I learned how to produce work to such a high standard that my final Masters project (a 10 minute short-film) was awarded 1st prize for The Student Film - Golden Statue Award. It has also been selected for the Ffresh Animation Festival Short List Awards and commended by Joanna Quinn at the Roshdu Animation Film Festival in Teheran.
I have also worked on graphic and web design projects (graphic and interactive pieces) dealing with the town of Liverpool. My skills have developed both in the classroom and in my work with some great graphic studios such as one in Paris whom I have worked with on a number of projects. They gave me many different kinds of interesting briefs. I worked particularly on a video presentation of "Boucheron-Paris" website but also on the implementation and animation of "Lancôme" Diagnoscils mascaras for example. I also had the opportunity to work as a member of the graphic design team of Lime Picture Liverpool and was in charge of some design for the TV show "HOLLYOAKS"..
I recently worked as a Design Leader for a medium size company in Liverpool where I was in charge of various projects of Graphic Design, Web Design & Conception, Logo Design, Print, Illustration, Animation & Video. I regularly met the clients to discuss projects and managed the full Website Conception (Sitemap & Wireframes).
