Stephanie worked in the luxury retail and luxury real estate industries for almost 20 years. She also contributed to industry studies and blogged about the state of the luxury industry with a particular interest in the emerging synergy between new technologies and the luxury industry. She participated in innovative projects such as defining sustainable policies for eco-luxury and building online communities.
In 2010 Stephanie founded webcommunitymanagement sas, a social media communication agency which builds and grows on+offline communities for local businesses, international institutions and brands.
Transposing this expertise to the Arab Spring uprisings, Stephanie accompanied local opposition groups in their advocacy, networking and media projects, eg by broadening the notoriety of Amazigh media in Libya.
Stephanie also co-founded Global Relief Libya, a Humanitarian Aid organisation, which federated Libyan solidarity and was one the first NGOs to bring medical aid to, and raise public awareness on the sieges of Misrata and the Nafusa Mountains. Stephanie continues to advise Libyan associations as well as decrypting the evolving situation in Libya for European institutions.
Today, Stephanie is working on social media advocacy & strategy for Yemeni opposition groups as well as focusing on bringing a more socially sustainable take to her commercial ventures.
Oh yes, and she is also raising her two incredible girls.
