  • Castel - Finance Manager Algeria

    2009 - 2011 Groupe Castel bought a new factory near Algiers. First objective for the headquarters was an audit of the financial statements. Then re-integrate the accounting inside the company. Achievement : team of 5 people fully trained and operational, Castel ERP implemented, cost review and decrease production cost by 30% (review of suppliers, HR, fixes costs).

     Annual closing, tax declaration and implementation of the new procedures for accounting

  • CASTEL Angola - Usine de Bom Jesus - CFO

    2008 - 2009 New Factory for Groupe Castel in Angola. Started from scratch the finance department. At the same time, coordinated the project to set up an ERP in Angola, COBEJE was the company test for the country.
    Achievement : Recruited and trained a finance team up to 10 people, PRIMAVERA installed for accounting, payroll and invoicing, Cash flow follow up, a manufacturing strategic review with Technical Manager and GM.
     Manage and supervise staff
     Monthly Reporting (IFRS), cash flow report, follow up of clients and suppliers, budgeting
     Plan and coordinate the year-end audits
     Set up of ERP Primavera (invoicing, accounting, payroll, stock and purchasing)

    2006 - 2008 Factory which produces machines and structure for oil and gas companies (client Total, Chevron, Exxon...). 2 parts : controlling of the factory costs (investments, HR) and project cost control for medium sized EPCI projects. Interim of CFO.
    Achievement : Project follow up spreadsheet operational, decrease of reporting time by 7 days, decrease of project presentation deadline (with Project Manager and GM).
     Project Cost Control (budget 2007, $ 130M): Budget, cost control, contract follow-up, and forecasting of 10 manufacturing and EPCI projects from $ 5M to $ 140M
     Yard Cost Control (budget 2007, $ 70M)

    Paris 2001 - 2006 Medical organization with projects in 30 countries (Hospital vaccination, HIV and TB programs,
    Emergencies, Sanitation...). First objective of this job was to develop financial information about programs for donors. Then re-organization and optimization of the finance team.
