2013 - 2014I currently ensure helpdesk and support for the Geneva office, as well as the 4 others branches located in Lucerne, Zurich, Lugano and Dubai. (100 users)
This position draws together various situations and day-to-day issues that I support:
1. User management: I manage a part of the Active Directory, by creating or modifying user accounts/groups, depending on the access rights requested.
2. Hardware: I setup new workstations and laptops, based on the requirements, using Windows System Image Manager or Windows Deployment System.
3. Data Backup: I ensure Data Backup continuity on a daily basis (with tapes replacement) using the Symantec Backup Exec software and I also restore some files if needed.
4. Print Management: I handle a central administration point for sharing printers over the network (40) and managing print server and network printer tasks.
5. Desktop Management: I’m responsible of the desktop management activities, in automating, standardizing and auditing the Windows network: patch management, software deployment and reports.
6. Network infrastructure: I’m also involved in the renewing of the network infrastructure project, which includes cabling, racking and setup of the devices (Servers, SAN and switches).
7. Communication: Management of the internal AVAYA phone system and configuration of Mobile Phone devices.
8. IT Projects: I’m in liaison with external IT companies in order to coordinate some projects by providing them all the information needed.

Genève2012 - 2012- I ensured infrastructure's continuity in a Windows environment
- I also handled helpdesk and support for the Geneva office (45 users)
- From February through July 2012 I managed the IT onsite project for the International AIDS 2012 Conference in Washington D.C with overall technical and budget responsibility for 25000 people.
This position gathers various conference projects that I coordinated for this event:
1. Operational Timeline: Planning how and when the various setups will be done throughout the venue with all our suppliers.
2. Network and landlines: Liaison with the Convention Center’s supplier and collection of all the needs regarding the Internet drops / Wi-Fi / VLANs (70Mbps).
3. IT Equipment: Liaison with our local supplier and assessment of all the IT requirements including 300 workstations, 100 laptops, and 120 printers.
4. Electricity: Liaison with the Conference Center’s supplier and estimation of the electrical needs during the event based on the IT requirements in order to estimate a budget.
5. Onsite Communication: Finding a local mobile phone supplier, studying the best offer, negotiation of the contract and proposition of a sponsorship based on a budget.
6. Internet Café: Choosing an internet café software to be used at the conference, planning the operational timeline and managing it with the help of volunteers.

- And from May through July I assisted my Manager in the IT onsite project for the IAS 2011 Conference in Rome, Italy.

1. Assessment of requirements: Collection of the needs regarding the IT equipment and the local mobile phones.
2. Internet Café: Choosing an internet café software to be used at the conference and managing it with the help of volunteers.
